Two-SUV crash injures two

Two women sustained injuries after the driver of a Chevy Trailblazer pulled in front of a Ford Explorer that was moving at 50 mph, according to Madera Police officers.

A Chevy Trailblazer was heading west into Madera on Avenue 14 1/2 Sunday afternoon. The driver told officers she stopped at the stop sign and thought she had time to clear the intersection when she pulled out in front of the moving Ford Explorer. 

Traffic on Road 28 does not have to stop at that intersection, according  to officers.

The Chevy was struck directly in the passenger-side door, spinning both vehicles around, and injuring a female passenger...
