From ambulances to zebra-print clothing, the alphabet of local business was on display Thursday inside the Madera Fairground’s Hatfield and Van Alen halls as part of the Madera Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Business Extravaganza & Trade Show.

More than 1,000 Valley residents packed the two halls to take in what some 55 vendors had to offer.

Chamber president Debi Bray said for more than 20 years the event has helped stimulate economic growth in a fun, relaxing environment.

“This is one of the best ways we help showcase what our local businesses and chamber members have to offer,” Bray said. “It also highlights the sense of community that Madera possesses. You can tell by the atmosphere that’s created that this is a great city, and a great business community to live with as well as play in.” ...
