A Madera teenager was jailed after being arrested late Saturday night on suspicion of burglary — a crime which was captured on video the previous morning.
Tyler David Johnson, 18, was apprehended at his home on Lynn Way, said Erica Stuart, sheriff’s department spokeswoman.
Digital images from surveillance equipment installed in a Bonadelle Ranchos neighborhood helped deputies track down at least one suspect, as well as the stolen property — some of which included birth certificates, Social Security cards, four rifles, a hunting bow, four BB guns and a digital camera, said Stuart.
The investigation continues, according to Stuart. Anyone with information is asked to call either the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at 675-7770 or CRIME STOPPERS at 498-STOP.
