Suspect in YLP arsons rearrested

Arson suspect Alison Waterman, 46, of Coarse-gold, was rearrested and charged with conspiracy in connection with 31 recent fires in the Yosemite Lakes Park area, according to Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz.

“She was rearrested on Monday and her bail was raised to $250,000,” Keitz said Tuesday. “We filed an additional charge of conspiracy in the case. Both Kenneth Jackson and Alison Waterman were present in court on Tuesday and arraigned on the charges, and had (defense) counsel appointed.”

Jackson was charged with 31 counts of arson and is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail. Waterman had been out on $25,000 bail after being initially charged with one count of arson.
