Suspect in killing sought

Local authorities are looking for Kenneth Sandlin, 58, who was involved in a noisy disagreement with a 67-year-old that resulted in the victim’s death from blunt force trauma, according to a late Friday press release.

Madera Police Detective Daniel Foss said the murder suspect is expected to be in the Madera-Chowchilla area and should only be approached “with extreme caution” if seen.

“Sandlin has an extensive and violent history including numerous altercations with law enforcement and is to be considered dangerous,” Foss said.
