Country Villa Madera residents read to students at Nishimoto Preschool on Thursday to celebrate the birthday of Theodor Geisel, known to most as Dr. Seuss.
The celebration of his birthday — March 2 — came a day early for the preschoolers, who wore hats like those worn in Seuss’ “Cat in the Hat.”
Schools across Madera Unified have invited guest readers onto their campuses today as part of the 15th annual “Read Across America Day.”
