A new gas station has opened at a site familiar to many Maderans. PS Chevron not only offers full or self-service fuel, but performs smog inspections and repair, diagnostic and repair, tune-ups and brake service. The station is open seven days a week.

According to cordial owner Paramjit “Pammi” Singh they will also soon have a mini-mart for the convenience of their customers.

Singh and his wife, Kuldip Kaur, arrived in Madera in 1990. They have four daughters and one son. All have attended or are at Madera schools. Their oldest daughter is a registered nurse in Sacramento and two others have degrees in pathology.
