A Chowchilla man who died from a stab wound he suffered during a fight with his stepfather has been identified as Andrew Shabazz.
Madera County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart said the investigation continues and toxicology tests won’t be available for at least another week.
Deputies were sent to the home of Shabazz and his stepfather, 57-year-old James Arthur Chew, on Avenue 19 off Road 12 on Feb. 29.
