Freeway ramps will be closed intermittently between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays in Fresno on State Route 41 for the month of March so mulch can be applied to minimize soil erosion, control weeds, retain soil moisture and beautify, officials said Friday.
The ramps are along north and southbound SR 41 from Tulare to Herndon avenues.
No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time, according to a statement from the California Department of Transportation.
