Madera Adult School accredited for first time by association of schools

Students who started classes at Madera Adult School on Monday can be assured that the diplomas they aim to earn there will be recognized by higher learning institutions including the University of California and California State University systems.

This is because, for the first time, the school has earned a six-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

By granting accreditation to the 43-year-old postsecondary school, WASC certified that it is a trustworthy institution of learning and validated the integrity of the school’s program and student transcripts. It is the first time Madera Adult School sought and received the accreditation.
