Madera County Sheriff John Anderson is asking for the public’s help in identifying the victim of a hit-and-run Sunday.
His body was discovered on the west side of North Lake Street near Ellis Street.
He is described as a Hispanic man in his early 20s, was 5 feet, 2 inches tall and weighed 135 pounds. He had a crew cut style haircut and his upper left tooth was silver.
The man wore white sneaker and black denim jeans with thick white stitching. The label inside the back of the jeans read “Hi-H Adventure jeans.” He also wore a hooded two-sleeve shirt — the shirt and half sleeves were blue, the arm length sleeves white...
