Sheriff’s office grows by 3

A deputy duo and new dispatcher have joined the Madera County Sheriff’s Office and two of the three are native to the county, sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart announced Wednesday.

Williams — who grew up in Coarsegold and graduated from Yosemite High School — started his law-enforcement career working for Table Mountain Casino where he was trained as an explosives detection canine handler, Stuart said.
