On Jan. 24, when the Madera Unified School District school board considers adjusting the boundaries of its trustee voting areas, the map for one of the three alternatives will show very little change.
Plan 2 looks very much like the status quo.
Under that scenario, trustee area 1 would remain the largest geographically and would surround the other six districts, which would continue to be clustered in the north central portion of Madera Unified boundaries. Their configuration would basically be the same.
Although the map would look familiar, however, the adjustments that are made in plan 2 would significantly alter the demographics of each trustee area...
