A local nonprofit faith-based organization is putting on a sale Saturday to raise money for charities. The third annual Spring Arts and Crafts Show by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas St. Joachim’s Court 2553 is set to feature the products of many vendors from throughout the Central Valley.

Admission to the show is free and it’s slated to go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Holy Spouses Hall, 310 N. I St. Food will also be sold and numerous raffles held. Members of the organization, which aims to work for justice and equality, say the unique items made by crafters and artists are what set the show apart.

“There will be 60 crafters with all hand-made unique items. It’s two weeks before Mother’s Day so people can buy something here,” said Joann Martini, treasurer.

Proceeds from the fundraiser are set to benefit Holy Family Table, a local soup kitchen, and Doors of Hope Pregnancy Resource Center, organizers said.
