At-risk Madera girl is missing

Sheriff John Anderson turned to the public Wednesday to help find a missing 18-year-old Madera girl.

Angela Adams is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 120 pounds and has long brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen near Avenue 17 and Road 28 1/2 on June 1.

Madera County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Erica Stuart said Adams was last seen wearing dark clothing and carrying a backpack.

Stuart also said that the girl is considered a danger to herself, but the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) prevents the department from providing details...
