More than 200 stood in the new building of the Madera County Office of Education on Monday to honor the woman after whom it was named.
Dr. Sally L. Frazier, who served six terms as superintendent of schools before retiring in 2010, was honored and pleased to see former colleagues, friends and family during the ribbon-cutting and open house of the Dr. Sally L. Frazier Instructional Support and Conference Center. The Madera County board of education named the facility after her.
“I’m overwhelmed with pride and pride in the whole community,” said Frazier, whose career in education spanned a period of more than 30 years.
