Retired CHP officer is Rotarian of the Month

A retired California Highway Patrol Officer has been selected the June Rotarian of the Month for the Madera Rotary Club.

Newly installed club president Jim Pierce presented the award to Mike Herder.

“If there would be a face for our Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self,’ it would be the face of this month’s honoree,” said Pierce. “Mike is our club’s past president, past assistant district governor, and is involved in every single activity our club does. In the truest sense, he is a Rotarian.”
