A resource fair — targeting veterans but open to the public — is set to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 2026 N. Granada Dr.

The county veterans service officer, Charles Hunnicutt, is to be the key speaker and will talk about numerous resources available to former members of the armed forces, including hospitalization and other medical care.

“We’re putting it on to assist our homeless veterans and other veterans who are getting out of the military and transitioning on to civilian life. It’s a one-stop-shop to help them,” he said.
