The secret Rowley Report, a probe of complaints about how Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz ran his office after he took over as DA in 2009 and for more than a year after that, will remain under wraps for now.

Madera County Superior Court Judge James E. Oakley on Tuesday granted a request by Keitz to issue a temporary restraining order halting the release of the Rowley Report to The Madera Tribune by County Counsel Doug Nelson.

The Madera County Board of Supervisors last week had ordered Nelson to turn the document over.

Keitz also sought, recusal or removal, of Nelson from any further action in the question of whether the report should be made public...
