A Madera Ranchos resident and former Madera Tribune photographer will show her artwork at three venues in the Valley this summer.

Ramona Frances experimented with ink, felt pens, paint, protective chemicals and graphics to eventually create 3-D portraits and landscapes, she said.

She will show her portraits at The Coffee Spot in the Ranchos as the featured artist Aug. 18 through September. A “Meet the Artist” event is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. Aug. 24 at the coffee shop, which features a different artist each month.

Frances will also show landscapes on canvas at the Fresno Art Hop slated for Aug. 2 at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office, 737 Van Ness Ave. in Fresno...
