Ongoing work on the Madera 99 Rehabilitation Design-Build Project will result in intermittent and continuous closures of some north and southbound ramps between the Gateway Avenue and Ellis Street overcrossings on State Route 99.

The periodic closures will be between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through Friday and will include: Highway 145 on/off ramps, the northbound H Street on ramp, Cleveland Avenue on/off ramps, northbound 16th Street on ramps, southbound 16th Street on/off ramps, the southbound I Street off ramp, and the 4th Street on ramp.

The closures are for safety as workers reconstruct roadway, medians and shoulders, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Granite Construction Company.

Signage will notify motorists of upcoming traffic switches and lane closures. Motorists will have at least one-lane access at all times...
