Producer seeking local actors for documentary

Emmy Award-winning Peacock Productions will shoot an episode of the Discovery Channel Documentary series “Disappeared” near Shaver Lake between June 16 and 21, and the producer is seeking local actors for bit parts.

“We are looking for local participants and actors to portray actual people in re-creation scenes of actual events,” associate producer Josh Penchina said.

The roles the producer is looking to fill are:

Man 1 — Male, Caucasian, 55 years old, 5’8”, 150 pounds, longish black hair, full and heavy black-and-grey beard...
