Police: suspect gets out of Dodge, arrested in Madera

A man wanted in Dodge City, Kan., for robbery and attempted murder was arrested in Madera County earlier this week after he was chased down on foot through an almond orchard.

Audrey Paul Clinghan, 41, who also goes by Paul Jones, was arrested late Wednesday afternoon in Fairmead by Madera County Sheriff’s deputies.

Sheriff’s spokesperson Erica Stuart said Clinghan, a self-described member of the Dirty White Boys street gang, was wanted in Kansas for allegedly robbing and stabbing a man, then stealing his van.

After deputies were advised Clinghan could be in Fairmead — and considered very dangerous — Stuart said they saw Clinghan get into the stolen van outside a home in the area...
