Police searching for stabbing suspects; 2 men remain in recovery

Two men stabbed Sunday night in an armed robbery remained in the hospital Monday, while a search was under way for their assailants.

According to reports, two men stormed the La Raza Market, located near the southeast corner of Pecan Avenue (also known as Avenue 13) and State Route 145, shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Two men working inside the store suffered stab wounds. Both were rushed to an area hospital, their condition not known at this hour, according to Erica Stuart,sheriff’s spokeswoman.
