Platt Electric takes to the sky to get customers’ perspective

Platt Electric exceedingly caters to its customers’ interests, even taking them on tours of the company’s headquarters.

The company took more than 50 Madera customers on one-day private jet trips to tour the headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., with either the store manager or one of the other store employees. Selected customers are invited to go on the tour once or twice a year. All Platt Electric stores treat customers to the tour.

“It’s something that not every company can say that they do,” said John Russell, 41, the store’s manager for seven years. “It’s interesting to see the customers’ perspective. Many of them are amazed at what we do.”
