Peruch devotes life to serving, guiding others

For most people, time is a difficult aspect of life to manage, but for Mark Peruch, time has never been an issue. He simply makes time for everything.

There’s no one way to describe Peruch, 57. He’s a funeral director, a bishop, a Boy Scout leader and a farmer. Drew Hyer, a business partner and longtime friend, theorized that Peruch simply cares about people.

“Mark, he’s a very unique individual,” Hyer said. “He seems to have the ability to keep a lot of balls in the air and make them all work well at the same time. I don’t think he gets enough sleep.  He can’t. We all only have 24 hours in the day. Somehow he manages to pack two lifetimes of activity into one life.

“I used to say, Mark Peruch is the last man to ever let you down,” Hyer said...
