Dinner to celebrate 'Lincoln Marriage'

OAKHURST -- The Wild Wonderful Women and King Vintage Museum, 40680 State Route 41, is holding its second annual Valentine Chocolate Extraordinaire Dinner at the Evergreen Conference Center on Sunday at 3 p.m.

This year the dinner celebrates the marriage of Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln.

The Valentine dinner is an event where the community may enjoy St. Valentine's Day and chocolate in a romantic mountain setting. Each course contains chocolate, which may sound odd, but it is amazing how a dash of cocoa can make an ordinary dish extraordinary.

There will be four courses of chocolate tasting. The appetizer is cocoa humus with crackers and fresh vegetables, which is followed by a garden salad with cranberries, feta cheese, walnuts and mini chocolate chips with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
