A North Fork man faces drug and weapons charges following a complaint about a noisy generator.

Boyd DeMasters, 58, was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday after neighbors called the sheriff's department complaining of noise, according to Erica H. Stuart, the Madera County Sheriff's Department's public-information officer.

Deputy Richard Gonzales went to the home on Tu Nobi Way to resolve the noise complaint and learned that DeMasters had an outstanding warrant on a no-bail misdemeanor driving-under-the-influence charge.

In a search of DeMasters' trailer, Gonzales found rifles, revolvers and shotguns, several rounds of ammunition and nearly a pound of marijuana.
