The following is a partial list of calls received by the Madera Police Department from Sunday to Tuesday.

Sunday, Nov. 1

1:45 a.m. - A person was arrested on suspicion of fighting in a public place in the 1500 block of East Cleveland Avenue.

1:47 a.m. - A person was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the 1300 block of East Almond Avenue.

1:50 a.m. - Police received a report of a fight in the area of Chestnut and Hickory avenues.
