Heritage Day, from 10 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lions Town & Country Park, will offer free family entertainment. Displays and activities will be on Industrial Avenue and the south side of the park.

In the tradition of the 2007 Fireman's Muster, activities and competitive games will be plentiful. Adult competition will include a bucket brigade, target ball, hose cart and motorized truck events. Kids can get wet and wild with a bucket brigade competition, water slides and water hose games.

Displays will include many antique fire trucks including hose carts from a century ago. Also on display will be antique cars, trucks and tractors and the always popular group of one-cycle engines that huff and puff throughout the day.

Refreshments will be available during the day and the Madera Evening Lions will provide lunch at the pavilion area, corner of Industrial and Granada.
