MUSD to meet without Cogdill

The Madera Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the district’s boardroom at 1902 Howard Road, but not all of the board members will be there.

Trustee Lynn Cogdill informed the board that he could not attend the meeting due to his work schedule.

According to Cogdill and trustee Robert Garibay, board president Ricardo Arredondo attempted to have a meeting on Thursday, Feb. 14, but rescheduled it for this Tuesday, Cogdill’s work schedule notwithstanding.

Cogdill said he was told the proposed meeting was to discuss an article in The Madera Tribune that appeared on Tuesday in which Cogdill accused Arredondo of trying to make a deal with him in the district’s search for a new school superintendent...
