Madera Unified School District continued the restructuring of its top-level administrative team by hiring Anthony Monreal, Ed.D., as deputy superintendent under Superintendent Gustavo Balderas.
The entire certificated management team will report to Monreal, including Associate Superintendent Deborah Wood. The new deputy will also be in charge of the entire district when Balderas is not present.
Monreal’s contract was approved at Tuesday night’s school board meeting.
