Movies Madera received the Crystal Tower Award on Wednesday at the ninth annual Business and Education Shareholders’ Luncheon hosted by the Madera County Compact.
Movies Madera was recognized for its partnerships with Madera County schools in front of nearly 160 business and community leaders.
Accepting the award for Movies Madera was owner Bobby Gran. Movies Madera was nominated by Dr. Osvaldo De Luna, director of curriculum and instruction for the Madera County Office of Education.
For the past five years, Gran has donated the Movies Madera facility, employee time and personally assisted with the Madera County Academic Decathlon Lecture Day.
