Lanes and ramps along 3.6 miles of State Route 99 in Madera are set to be closed, some starting tonight and others midway through the week, announced the California Department of Transportation.
The northbound number two lane, from the Gateway Avenue overcrossing to the Ellis Street overcrossing, will be closed to traffic from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. starting today until Friday. The southbound number two lane will also be closed during the same period.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., the northbound on-ramp on SR 145, the southbound 4th street on-ramp, the northbound SR 145 off-ramp and the northbound 4th street off-ramp will be closed, Caltrans said.
The lane and ramp closures are part of stage four roadway work for the Madera 99 Rehabilitation Design-Build Project, which Caltrans and Granite Construction Company expect to finish in December...
