The nineteenth annual Fall Finale Mopar car show featuring Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth and Jeep cars, trucks, classic and custom vehicles saw 135 entries in this year’s event. The show held Saturday at Lions Town and Country Park, is sponsored by San Joaquin Valley Mopars, inc. and co-sponsored by Madera Parks and Community Services Department.
The entries came from around California and the western states. According to event coordinator Ron Braden the number of entries was a 30 percent increase over the previous years. “I think the economy has a lot to do with the increase,” said Braden.
Visiting Madera for the first time and entering his 1994 Viper was Kelan Dennis of Oakley. “This is a wonderful setting for this show. I just came from a show in Monterey and this is just as nice,” said Dennis.
Judging was done in over 20 classes including a new class called Young Guns featuring Mopar owners age 25 and under. First-place, second-place and third-place awards were given in all classes...
