Funds to pay for nurses' stations
The Madera Community Hospital Foundation donated $100,000 to the hospital to pay for new nurses’ stations and mobile workstations.
The remodels and additions were needed to meet a federal requirement to upgrade from paper charts to electronic ones.
“All of the nurses’ stations have now been replaced,” said Rae Gomes, MCH community relations director. “The foundation paid for the remaining two, which opened this past weekend.”
