A Fresno man wanted on six outstanding warrants has been arrested in North Fork, the Madera County Sheriff’s Department said Thursday.
Merhdad Aminian, 41, was arrested on Road 200 on warrants for narcotics, possessing a stolen vehicle and traffic violations.
The sheriff’s department received a call about a man on a motorcycle shooting a firearm Wednesday afternoon. A deputy found Aminian standing on the roadside near a Moped and found he was wanted in Fresno on the six warrants.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into Madera County jail. He was transferred to Fresno County about 10:45 a.m. Thursday.
