Man sought in car theft ring, holding women against will

O’Neals — Local authorities are looking for a 38-year-old man who allegedly had a collection of stolen vehicles at his home and is reported to have held women against their will.

Madera County Sheriff John Anderson is asking for the public’s help to find Pasquale Desantis, who reportedly resides in Fresno and Madera County.

Sheriff’s detectives searched his home on Road 200 in O’Neals on Tuesday to recover property — including a large collection of stolen vehicles — much of it stolen from the Fresno area. But Desantis wasn’t found, officials said.

He is wanted on numerous felony warrants in Fresno County and on several felony charges — including false imprisonment and threatening crime with intent, domestic violence, receiving known stolen property, and robbery and weapons charges — in four separate Madera County cases, officials said...
