Morrie William Kiseloff, 38, of Madera has been sentenced in Madera Superior Court to four years in state prison, according to the Madera County district attorney.

Kiseloff was convicted on charges of felony vehicular manslaughter earlier this year.

In Feb. 2008, Kiseloff and his passenger, 36-year-old Marvin Horn of Kerman, were traveling in Kiseloff’s vehicle on Road 24, south of Madera. Kiseloff pulled off onto the shoulder of the road and attempted to make a U-turn. As it was turning, Horn fell out and hit his head on the pavement, which killed him.

Kiseloff was arrested and his blood alcohol was determined to be 0.08 percent when it was measured an hour later...
