6-year-old found in suspect’s home
A San Jose man was arrested Thursday for allegedly operating a methamphetamine conversion lab inside a rental home with his 6-year-old son.
Madera County Narcotic Enforcement Team (MADNET) agents arrested Hector Mendoza Medina, 30, also known as Javier Mendoza Medina, just before noon Wednesday following a tip phoned into MADNET’s hotline.
Medina was caught converting meth into crystal meth inside his kitchen, according to Madera County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart.
Nearly $1,000 worth of meth was seized, along with $200 worth of cocaine and nearly $1,000 cash. Agents also seized Medina’s BMW 745 parked in front of the home...
