A 33-year-old North Fork man whose eight-and-a-half-month-old son crawled out of a car window and fell on his head while unattended has been held to answer on felony child abuse charges, Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz said Thursday.
Marc McMurrian was charged after his son sustained head injuries when he was left alone in a vehicle parked at Bass Lake on May 14. Bystanders found the boy crawling in the parking lot.
He was held to answer on the charges filed last month during a preliminary hearing June 1.
McMurrian will be arraigned on the charge June 15 in Madera Superior Court.
