Madera Superior Court has convicted 32-year-old Victor Yslas of Fresno on seven felony counts, which include kidnapping, sexual assault and possession of child pornography, according to Madera County District Attorney Michael Keitz on Wednesday.

Deputy District Attorney Sally Moreno presented evidence that Yslas kidnapped a young girl in 2010, took her to a Madera park’s public restroom, indecently photographed her and assaulted her. He was arrested by Madera police.

Yslas has already been twice convicted of felony assault with a deadly weapon that resulted in great bodily injury, and has served time in state prison. Each conviction is a strike under the state’s Three Strikes and You’re Out law.

He will face a possible life sentence in state prison when sentenced Jan. 3, 2013, in Madera Superior Court.
