Man accused of setting multiple fires arrested

A Los Angeles County man suspected of starting at least two fires in eastern Madera County has been arrested, Sheriff John Anderson announced Monday.

The suspect, 48-year-old Tad Patrick Moore of Hollywood, was arrested in Fresno last month for arson and is back behind bars for allegedly starting the fires, including one that interrupted morning traffic on one of the busiest commuter highways in the Valley.

According to reports, Moore was last seen in Madera County about a year ago when he set his parents’ property on fire. Records show Fresno police arrested him in June for setting fires in the city.
