Madera residents won’t want to miss this year’s Madera District Fair, themed Nuttin’ But Fun, on Sept. 5 through 8.

The fair, held at the fairgrounds at 1850 W. Cleveland Ave., will feature concerts, carnival rides, games and attractions, food and beverage booths, souvenirs, livestock, floriculture and exhibit hall favorites such as photography, arts and crafts, home arts, cooking, baking and food preservation, agricultural mechanics and much more.

Those tired of experiencing life through an electronic monitor or mobile device will have the chance to get out and enjoy a community get-together that has something for everyone.

The Table Mountain Concert Series presented by Bud Light will feature Los Lonely Boys on Sept. 5 at 7:30 p.m., 2011 American Idol winner and country superstar Scotty McCreery on Sept. 6 at 8 p.m., alternative chart topper Lifehouse on Sept. 7 at 8 p.m., and Larry Hernandez on Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m....
