Missionary couple to share photos Sunday

After eight months of raising funds in Madera and a two-week long January trip to the southeastern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, two native Maderans are back in town and ready to tell their tale of hope.

Kenny and Audrey Crow will share photos and video from their Christian missionary trip in two services Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in Valley West Christian Center, 101 W. Adell St.

In mid-January the husband and wife, along with a longtime Sarah’s Cove-nant Homes (SCH) supporter Julie Metz, flew to India to bring flags used for worship, much needed food and a sense of hope to the impoverished and ill. SCH is a set of foster-style homes for abandoned special needs children in the country.

“It went better than I expected,” said Kenny. “God told me to go to India and plant flags of hope and give love to all those who have none.” ...
