A 31-year-old Madera man was slashed and stabbed in daylight hours in the 800 block of North D Street after an argument, according to Madera police.
He was reported in serious, but stable condition in Community Regional Medical Center.
Officers found the victim about 1:30 p.m. Sunday, covered in blood and lying in the street.
