A local manufacturer is looking for support to help promote his electronic flat screen television mounting system on the reality TV show “Shark Tank.”

Nemat Inc. president Mike Nemat has launched the ComfortVu, a mounting system that uses an infrared remote control to extend a flat screen TV 24 inches forward and lower it by 35 inches for a more comfortable viewing position. ComfortVu was developed for mounting TVs over the fireplace, in boardrooms, restaurants, sports bars or game rooms.

Nemat needs votes to qualify for a chance to present ComfortVu on ABC’s “Shark Tank.” On the show, aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of potential investors called “sharks.” The entrepreneur can potentially make a deal with one of the interested investors, but if none of the sharks “bite,” the contestant may leave empty-handed.

The public can vote at www.sharktankzone.com/content/comfortvu until March 15. Voters are required to register or login to the Shark Tank website to participate. Registration takes a moment, and then voters can visit ComfortVu’s page and give it a “thumbs up” vote...
