Maderan Larry Hall dies at 73

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today for Realtor Larry Hall at Jay Chapel with interment at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.

Hall, 73, died July 8 in Lake Tahoe. The native of Vincennes, Ind., spent the last 30 years making Madera his hometown.

Hall came to Madera to manage Advanced Drainage Systems. Switching to real estate, he began work as a Coldwell Banker sales associate around 1992 or 1993, according to Bobby Kahn, former owner of the company. In 1996, Hall partnered with broker Pat Logue and bought the business from Kahn, adding their initials to the name to form Coldwell Banker - H&L Real Estate.

“He was a quiet, but funny guy,” said Kahn. “He would always go out of his way to help his friends and customers, which is why he was so successful. He helped me work on my kitchen garbage disposal and dishwasher, not typically a broker’s job.” ...
