Annual Fashion Club event a dance for special needs students
After making their grand entrance down the red carpet, special needs students took photographs, ate and danced during a festive evening.
For some students, the Special Prom was the only formal high school dance they had attended. Others were not new to the annual event put on by Madera High School’s Fashion Club. The Friday event drew about 30 special needs students and 40 members of the club to the cafeteria.
Club members, who started planning the event about a month ago, said they were pleased with the turnout.
