Madera South High School has temporarily changed its colors from purple to pink.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Stallions will go pink tonight at Memorial Stadium before the football game against the Sanger Apaches.
“Our softball team started the concept about bringing awareness of breast cancer,” said Julie Larrivee, Madera South activities director. “We wanted to inform our students and community in a different light and have someone share their story.”
Local survivor Kim Wybenga will be on hand to provide an emotional speech about her road to recovery...
